Adrian Ferraretto was 26 when he joined Solar Shop Australia as Director in 2001.

Before joining Solar Shop Australia , Adrian had worked in a variety of engineering jobs as well as a part-time cellist.

Since then SSA has become one of Australia 's leading designers and installers of both grid connect and stand alone power systems. It has offices in Perth , Adelaide , Melbourne , Sydney and Brisbane and employs over 100 people Australia wide.

Apart from installing solar panels, Solar Shop Australia is also very keen to introduce electric vehicles to Australian roads.

Since May 2005, Adrian has been battling away trying to get the Reva Electric Car approved for use in Australia .

The Reva is classified under a light vehicle category – and Australia doesn't have such a category.
