Susan and John Glassford created Huff ‘n' Puff Constructions in 1995 after many years recycling old homesteads and shearing sheds. John is the founder of AUSBALE and it's first president. Huff ‘n' Puff have now conducted 100 straw bale building workshops and courses, in Australia , New Zealand and South Africa. Huff ‘n' Puff have been at the forefront of straw bale building technology and continue to test new methods of using straw bales and are the leaders in their industry. The first use of jumbo straw bales world wide in a commercial building was the Lethbridge Winery near Geelong , built by Huff ‘n' Puff. The latest is the Nulawala Community Hall in Fairfield , Sydney.
